URUTORAMAN!

Today was a good day, I feel like talking about Ultraman.

ULTRAMAN (or Ultraman The Next) is a good movie. Nice rock music by the Tak Matsumoto Group. This movie is pretty serious and doesn't seem to be aimed for kids. It seems like it's aimed for teens to adult. The One (main monster of the movie) scared me two times! First one was him in human form on a computer monitor in the movie. The second time he appeared right in front of the camera from nowhere! Anymore, very good movie, especially the music. This movie is about Maki Shunichi, turning into Ultraman "The Next." The aerial fight was cool, so many flying around.

Ultraman Cosmos VS Ultraman Justice is a very good movie. Really like the theme song, High Hope (which I downloaded, thanks to Hua Feng), it's so calm and nice. Project DMM is one of my favourite music group. They are Tsuburaya's resident music group. Overall, good conclusion to the Ultraman Cosmos saga.

Ultraman Tiga - The Final Odyssey is a very good movie, set two years after the series. Mostly it's about Tiga and the couples, Daigo (human form of Tiga) and Rena. Tiga must fight his former friends, Camearra, Darramb, and Hudra. This movie is perfect for Ultraman Tiga fans, like me. Tiga is very popular, he appeared in two other movies. Too bad the ratings on Fox Box is down or I can watch the whole US dubbed series.

Thanks to Derek from the Ultraman Lah! Forum for this. This is a very good live show. It's called Ultra Live Stage 7, mostly about twins: Ultraman Noa and Dark Zagi (not brothers). This live show features nine Ultra Warriors (mostly seven), better than Live Stage 6 (another thanks to Derek for that), Live Stage 6 only features 7 Ultramen (mostly six). Live Stage 6 has two tales but set in the same timeline. So it's two tales altogether, making one. One tale is about Ultraman Cosmos fighting Ultraman Justice and the second one is about Ultraman Leo. But mostly it's about Cosmos and Justice in this live show.

Thanks to Desmond from the Ultraman Lah! Forum for the Episode 19 clip. Shows two famous old guys, who played the human hosts of the original Ultraman and Ultraseven in the 60's. Anyway, good clip. Also shows the short battle of Max against this "Knight Monster." Max kills him with his Max Galaxy, his new weapon he got from Ultaman Xenon in Episode 13 (Daughter of Zetton).

Thanks to Derek for this clip. It's very short. Gamu (the human form of Ultraman Gaia) now has the power of Gaia and Agul (Version 1). The real Gaia is on the right, the one with the black chest. The fake one on the left was formerly Gaia's original form. In the episode of that picture, a monster made himself into Gaia V1. Just in case if you got confused, in the beginning of the series. Gaia's body was the fake's body, after he has the power of Ultraman Agul (who will return later in the series as Version 2), his body is then the one on the right. Hope this helps, or I'll show you a web page of Ultraman Gaia. Anyway, in the clip, the two Gaias fire their head beams and of course, the real one won, making the fake one turn back into his original form thanks to the help of XIG (team of the series). I have his movie, it features him, Tiga, and Dyna really good. May talk about it soon.

Okay, one more Ultraman stuff to talk about. The sixth and last one for today. This is a new PS2 Ultraman game, the forth installment of the series: ULTRAMAN FIGHTING EVOLUTION REBIRTH. Thanks to Sean from the forum who made a FAQ/Walkthrough on GameFAQs for people who wants to complete this game. This game only has 7 Ultramen and 3 evil Ultramen: Chaosroid U (Chaos version of the original Ultraman), Chaosroid S (Chaos version of Ultraseven) and Chaosroid T (Chaos version of Ultraman Taro. The three of them are very powerful. It also shows the modified versions of some classic monsters and chaos version of two monsters. It has 13 hard episodes. Overall, it's a good game.

Enough Ultraman talk, gotta go now. See ya!

Movie Day!

Today, well...no Sunday English class so it is a bit boring today. Also, it gives me a chance to study for my science test. At noon, I watched two movies: Star Wars Episode III - Revenge of the Sith and Final Fantasy VII - Advent Children. Those two films took me up to 4:02PM

The first time I watched it in SilverCity, I was shocked. So many sad stuff. Jedi dies, Anakin (or Vader) being burned. Very sad, "dark" movie. When it was close to the DVD release I was very excited. I was also expecting to be released with a bonus DVD, The Story of Star Wars, which it didn't (not funny). Some funny parts were in this film. Yoda got his "groove" when he was about to fight Palpatine, blowing two henchmen to the wall. Yoda's size is like a little kid. The Anakin VS Obi-Wan was cool. I really like it when they did this "wave" with their lightsabers. Heh, they both made the fight more dangerous. The platform they were on was going to be destroyed. I never expect Anakin to get burned so badly, which explains why he had that appearance in Episode VI - Return of the Jedi.

Final Fantasy is cool. This movie made me want it, which I did have it. The first time I saw this movie was in Metrotown, the Xie Brothers were there. It was near the ending but I had to leave The Source. So, on the first day of the Teacher Strike (Oct. 7) I went to buy it and watched it, the whole thing. Cloud is such a cool guy, Reno and Rude created some comedy, Tifa made a lot of cute faces in this film. You see, I'm not a Star Wars freak, as some of you think I am.

"I pity you who understand nothing." Now that's a smart quote to say to Sephiroth, if he really does understand nothing. Cloud is such a cool guy. He is very popular among Final Fantasy fans. He is well...a bit mysterious-like. His hairstyle, comparing to Tidus (from Final Fantasy X) is spiky but Tidus is even spikier.

It looks like that's all for today, going to the Vancouver Symphony with a bunch of classes tomorow.

The Mini-Bowling Trip

Hi, this is my first post, on Blogger, uh...doh! I don't even have much to say! Oh well...let's get on topic.

Last Sunday was pretty fun and okay, although I did felt like going home. It was very boring there. Steve was sick, sheesh. It was some fun time, well, much like a Kid Game Show. We played Jeopardy. Too bad Eric is not coming anymore, that guy sure makes me laugh sometimes.

Yes, I know, this image is VERY small. But my dial-up connection is really slow so...anyway, the red T-Shirt one is Eric. And that pic was taken when I was in Day Camp 2005.

Anyway, Andy was there, Benny was there, and Danny (Andy's lil bro) was there. Helen (our English teacher, not Heather's sister) and his bro was there helping out and what was with Kevin?! I thought our teams form an alliance and he gave us such hard questions! Oh well. After lunch, mini-bowling: No offense but a fourth-grader named Cristina was so slow. We were always the last one finishing a round. Anyone, not trying to sound cocky, but I might be the one of the best throwers, although I slide a lot. One throw was some funny mistake I made, it ended up going to Andy's lane! LOL! Aw, man!

On Saturady, the Xie brothers and I went Richmond Centre. Andy used missiles (according to him) to destroy a tank that was right in front of us! If that was real life, we could've died. Then I shot a bullet, then all these smoke came out. IMPOSSIBLE...How can just one bullet creat such huge smoke? Maybe I moved the mouse.

I really hope to have another Day Camp Gathering. The first one was pretty good but tiring, we went to four schools. Maybe I should creat a "Stay Connected With People" forum, now that's a good idea. Hope to have a Day Camp Gathering soon, but not just Day Camp people can come, Selkirk people are welcomed as well.

Another day camp pic in medium size, it took a short while to upload this.
